Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 14 April 2025
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Permata Studies website, and how you can manage them. We keep this short and plain. If you have questions, write to us at [email protected].
§1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you have already been shown a consent notice — so that you do not encounter the same prompt every time you return.
Cookies do not give us access to your device or to any information beyond what the cookie itself contains.
§2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be disabled. Without them, certain parts of the site would not work as intended.
- cookieConsent — Records your cookie preference so we do not show you the consent notice on every page load. Stored in localStorage. Expires after 12 months.
- Session data — Temporary data to support normal browsing. Deleted when you close your browser.
Analytics Cookies
These optional cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed most often, how long people spend on each section, and where they come from. This information is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We use it to improve the content and structure of the site.
- Examples: page view counts, session duration, referral source. Retained for up to 14 months before anonymisation.
Marketing Cookies
These optional cookies support advertising. We may use them if we run advertisements through third-party networks. They record that you visited our site and may be used to show you relevant content elsewhere.
Preference Cookies
These optional cookies remember settings you have chosen — for example, your preferred language or region — so you do not need to re-select them each visit.
§3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties whose services we use on this site. We have no direct control over these cookies. They include:
- Google Analytics — if analytics are enabled, Google may place cookies to measure site usage. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
- Google Maps — our contact page includes a map embed, which may set cookies originating from Google.
§4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a defined period (typically 12 months for consent records)
- Analytics data — aggregated after 14 months; individual session data is not retained beyond that period
§5. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the controls below to set your preferences. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. Your choices are saved in your browser's local storage and apply to this site only.
